What is Simply...Challenging?

In brief, Simply...Challenging is my challenge blog. Here, I'm only listing the reading (and 1 writing) challenges I am/have taken part in, as well as book lists for each. My reviews are posted at Goodreads. Yes, it seems weird, but right now, it works for me. ;)

Support Your Local Library Reading Challenge

1 January 2011 - 31 December 2011

Jamie from The Book Junkie's Bookshelf has taken over the Support Your Local Library Reading Challenge this year.  And it's pretty self-explanatory: read books that you have checked out (not bought - though that would be supporting your library in another good way ;) from your local library branch.

There are four levels to choose from, including:
1.  The Mini - check out and read 30 library books
2.  "Fun" Size - check out and read 40 library books
3.  Jumbo Size - check out and read 50 library books
4.  Mega Size - check out and read 51+ library books

Easy-peasy!  I work in a library and the majority of the books I read are borrowed from said library system (whether on shelf or through interlibrary loan) - though I also have a bad addiction of buying books, but I'm getting better... ;)  Mega Size it is!  Number-wise, I think I'll be aiming for 100 (a nice round digit) library books.  On a side note, I won't be including children's picture books, even though I do read a lot of those...

Titles will be added as they are read.
